Lucinda's thumbs-up for new nursery facility!
Three-years-old Lucinda Robyn-Ross has been helping managers at a local nursery to test out a new £100,000 facility!
Lucinda was first through the door of a new pre-school children's unit which has been unveiled at Footprints Family Day Nursery in Macclesfield.
Welcomed by Nursery Nurse Sheila Doyle, she toured the unit, ensuring that all the furniture and facilities were firmly in place for her colleagues. After testing the toys in one of the sand pits with mum, Faith Robyn she gave the new facility an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
The purpose-built facility replaces an older structure and will cater for 3 to 4+year-olds under the supervision of a team of experienced nursery nurses headed by Tracey Nuttall.
"Lucinda did a great job making sure everything was just as it should be before the other children arrived for their first day in the new unit," said Tracey.
"It's a fantastic development and underlines our commitment to providing the best standards of care and education in the area."
Three generations of the Huntington family are currently involved in running Footprints Day Nursery which provides a family environment for boys and girls from six months to five years.
One of the most oversubscribed day nurseries in Macclesfield, Footprints was classed as 'outstanding' in a number of areas during last year's OFSTED inspection.
